Sher and Kimberly started teaching yoga outside when COVID hit. The outdoor practices made the two feel like natural warriors. From there, Sher and Kimberly came up with WARRIORS IN THE WILD .
WARRIORS isn’t about the yoga poses. It’s about yoga. The union of mind, body, and spirit connected by breath.
Yoga is a practice available to all regardless of body type and fitness level.
Sher tried her first yoga class in 2009. Yoga, breathwork, ball rolling, and meditation changed Sher’s life. Sher no longer takes asthma or ADHD medication, experiences carpal tunnel or sciatic pain, and her migraines have subsided greatly.
Kimberly started practicing yoga because she couldn't afford a therapist in 2014. Kimberly is the least flexible yogi you’ll ever meet. But, yoga isn’t about flexibility.
Yoga is about the breath getting you out of your head and in touch with your spirit.
Kimberly shares her vulnerabilities and tight hips with everyday warriors to let them know the internal light that yoga and nature sparks does not require splits in a headstand.
Sher and Kim defy the typical definition of a yoga teacher. Neither looks like the stereotyped version of a yogi or is particularly calm. Decades of classroom teaching experience enables these two warriors to bring something truly unique to mindfulness.
